My whole life when you went to a seafood buffet, there would be bowls of Seafood Cocktail Sauce everywhere and it’s a condiment that most people had on their pantry shelf of in their fridge door. But just like mayo, it’s made with vegetable and seed oils and usually has a lot of questionable added ingredients like sugars and sometimes grains.
Making your own means you have a delicious tasting, clean sauce that you can use whenever you like. Every now and then I love buying fresh cold seafood for dinner and having some Seafood Cocktail Sauce to dip things into just makes the meal more special.
This recipe is made using my Homemade Stick Mixer Mayo and with just a few added ingredients. I don’t add the stevia drop myself but for those having trouble adjusting to homemade condiments, that drop of stevia can just help to make it taste more like the store bought you’re more used to.
