This was quite simply an attempt at making a nice and easy Asian style side veg to accompany any kind of protein you like. This Chilli Asian Broccoli isn’t fancy, but it’s quick and cheap to make with ingredients that can be bought at any supermarket.
Chilli Asian Broccoli
Equipment
- Wok
Ingredients
- 500 g broccoli, divided into florets and stems chopped
- 2 red chillies, deseeded and finely chopped
- 2 cubes garlic paste or 2 tsp minced garlic
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
- ¼ cup tamari soy sauce sub with coconut aminos for paleo or soy free
Instructions
- Heat coconut oil in a wok over high heat. Add garlic and chilli and fry for one minute. Add broccoli and stir-fry about 5 minutes. Add ¼ cup tamari and stir fry another few minutes. Plate and sprinkle with sesame seeds to serve.
