This started off as a throw together dish and then I ended up adding a few things more than what I had planned. The result was so much nicer than I expected, it was actually a great tasting dish.
Combined with your favourite pasta replacement such as zoodles, shredded cabbage, spinach or konjac noodles, it makes a great low carb meal!
Garlic Butter Prawns with Feta
A very quick and easy prawn dish packed full of flavour that goes great with zoodles.
Servings 4

Ingredients
- 800 g raw shelled prawns
- 100 g butter
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cubes garlic paste or 2 tsp minced garlic
- ½ a lemon, the juice
- 200 g feta, crumbled
- 4 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat butter in a frying pan over high heat, add onion and garlic, sauté until softened and onion is just starting to colour. Add prawns and mix well.
- Cook, stirring frequently until prawns are cooked through. Add lemon juice and stir through near the end. Add feta and parsley and stir through.
- Serve on its own or with your favourite pasta replacement such as zoodles, shredded cabbage, spinach or konjac noodles.
