After making my Sugar Free Milk Bottles, I decided trying to make a chocolate milk version, so here are my Sugar Free Chocolate Milk Bottles! I was originally going to use cocoa powder and sweetener but I remembered I had a tin of Avalanche brand sugar free drinking chocolate which I knew would be great for this.
If you like you can still use cocoa powder and sweetener instead of the Avalanche, just add to taste and note the carb count. These Sugar Free Chocolate Milk Bottles use just unsweetened almond milk, gelatine and the Avalanche. It doesn’t get much simpler!
Sugar Free Chocolate Milk Bottles
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup unsweetened almond milk
- ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
- 25 g gelatine
- 3 tsp Avalanche sugar free drinking chocolate or sub with cocoa powder and sweetener
- Silicone bottle moulds
- Pipette
Instructions
- Add ⅓ cup of milk to a tall jug. Heat in the microwave for 1 minute. Add and whisk in gelatine. Heat another 30 seconds and whisk until gelatine is dissolved. Add another ¼ cup almond milk and whisk through.
- Add chocolate mix, whisk to combine making sure there are no lumps.
- Place your moulds on a tray or similar so they lie flat. Using the pipette, carefully fill your moulds, make sure not to overfill.
- Try and be quick because the gelatine will start to set even out of the fridge. If you don’t have enough moulds, need to do a second batch and your gelatine mix sets, just pop it in the microwave for another 30 seconds and whisk to turn it back into liquid.
- Once your moulds are full, refrigerate until set, approximately an hour.
- Gently pop out your bottles. If they are fully set they should come out easily. Keep stored in the fridge.
